  • Liposarcoma
  • Schwannoma of the vastus medialis
  • Schwannoma of the ulnar nerve
  • Solitary fibrous tumor
    • 34-years-old man with mass of the forearm.

MRI: T1-weighted MR images shows a mass (green star) of inhomogeneous low signal intensity whereas T2-weighted images showed a mass of inhomogeneous high and intermediate signal intensity.

Associated cortical rupture. Delayed enhancement after gadolinium injection.

      R: radius, U: Ulna

APL: Abductor Pollicis Longus , EUC: Extensor Carpi Ulnaris, EDM: Extensor Digitorum Minimi, ED: Extensor Digitorum, ECRB: Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis, ECRL: Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus, S: Supinator, BR: Brachialis Radialis. AIA: Anterior Interosseous Artery.

  • Nodular angiomyoma
  • Masson's vegetant hemangioendothelioma
  • Venous malformation
    • Young man suffering from forearm pain after exercise (and following an indirect minor trauma).

Ultrasonography: hypoechoic serpiginous compressive mass with low flow on color doppler. No phleboliths at radiography.

MRI: well-marginated heterogeneous mass isointense on T1-weighted sequences and hyperintense on T2-weighted sequences with strong enhancement after gadolinium injection.

MRA: relative delayed and progressive gadolinium enhancement from median artery.

  • Volar Hemangioma
    • Volar painfull swelling of the 4th finger.

Well-circumscribed soft tissue ovoid mass located volar of the fourth finger, without reactive edema of the adjacent subcutananeous tissue. Hypointense T1 ( ), hyperintense DP FS ( ) and intense enhancement after gadolinium ( ). At Surjery, the hemangioma was partially thrombosed.
